Appearance: 18-block pre-broken mold; nondescript dark brown color.
Smell: Dried red fruits (cranberry), honey & sweet earth.
The Melt & Snap: good melt & strong snap.
Taste: Super fruity from the start, getting sweeter and smoother as it melts further; the light cocoa flavor definitely plays a soft note at the end.
Complaints & Complements: It’s a very bright bar, and honestly one of my favorites, but it’s sometimes hard to taste anything beyond the fruit— not necessarily a bad thing, but after tasting a bar made with very acidic and badly-dried Madagascan beans last year, it makes me question that a bit. The balance achieved here is undeniable, though.
