Ingredients: Cacao, Organic Sugar, Mountain Air Roasting coffee.
Appearance: Very dark brown, a color likely enhanced by the addition of the ground coffee.
Aroma: Very dark cacao, light sweet red fruits, and unexpectedly no coffee.
Melt & Snap: great melt & fine snap.
Flavor: That coffee flavor jumps in right from the get-go, and it is sweet and creamy right until the end when the sweetness darts out and you’re left with only coffee.
Complaints & Complements: this bar was not very affected by the melting it endured while I was in the perpetually hot state of Belize. It’s a good bar, and people who love coffee will enjoy it, but it’s decidedly one-dimensional, enjoyable for what it is.
Context: Sitting comfortably in my apartment in Mexico after an awesome rainstorm— my fan isn’t even on!
