Bar: Manabí 65%
Maker: Pacari (Quito, Ecuador)
Price: $3/50g (Direct From Maker)
Overall Rating: 7.5/10
Munch Factor: 6.5/10
Ingredients: Organic Cacao, Organic Sugar, Organic Cocoa Butter, Sunflower Lecithin
Appearance: Plain 18-block mold and a very dark brown color.
Smell: Sweet and woody, but with creamy and bitter undertones, and a complex overlying spice.
The Melt & Snap: nice melt & hard snap.
Taste: Unidentifiable reaction of my tongue to the flavor I want to call bleachy, but did not run from. It is quickly replaced by a light fruit flavor and floral woodiness, cocoa dominating it all from below.
Complaints & Complements: Very enjoyable, I must say. The packaging is plain, but well-branded like his other bars, and it serves its purpose.
