Appearance: 10-rectangle pre-broken mold, and plain dark brown color with no obvious coffee, telling you that it is ground coffee flavoring the bar.
Aroma: Sweet dark roast coffee, straight up.
Melt & Snap: okay melt & beautiful snap.
Flavor: Immediately sweet coffee, then a bit of cream and a strong espresso finish, albeit with little to no bitterness. I’d say that it is a wonderful bar for coffee lovers, which I am; it is one of the most seamlessly-blended coffee bars that I have ever had.
Complaints & Complements: Ground coffee means that you basically have to chew the bar the entire time, but the bar has a very good mocha flavor going on, because the low percentage means that it is sweet enough to even out the bitterness of the coffee. The plastic inner packaging is also surprisingly appreciated in this case, because not only does it keep the coffee flavor strong and fresh, but there is a slit in the top to make it easier to open.
