Bar: Trinidad (70%)
Maker: Palette De Bine (Canada)
Price: $9/70g (Chocolátl, The Netherlands)
Overall Rating: 7/10
Munch Factor: 3.5/10
Ingredients: Cocoa beans, Sugar
Appearance: Deep brown color and wood plank-style mold.
Aroma: Dark, dried berries and of-the-earth.
Melt & Snap: Melt is okay and snap is strong.
Flavor: Sweet and deep cocoa, reminding me of the view from the top of a volcano, looking out over the flowers and gulping in deep breaths of crisp hot air. Slightly bitter finish.
Complaints & Complements: Love the envelope design & plank mold, but don’t like the plastic inner packaging. Very satisfying flavor.
