*Pump Street Bakery Madagascar 72%

Sharing is caring!

Bar: Madagascar 72%
Maker: Pump Street Bakery (Suffolk, England, UK)
Price: $14.49/60g (Southern Season)
Overall Rating:
 7.5/10
Munch Factor:
 7/10
Ingredients:
 Cacao, Cane Sugar, Cocoa Butter

Appearance: Unremarkable 16-block mold and remarkably lighter color for the percentage.
Aroma: Very poignant and sweetened fruits with woody undertones.
Melt & Snap: okay melt & good snap.
Flavor: Big red fruits and a smooth chocolate background never reveal any bitterness or tannins and maintain an appealing sweetness throughout; moderately long finish with pleasant honey notes.
Complaints & Complements: The only packaging that I have encountered which rivals my love for theirs is that of Videri, but Pump Street Bakery’s seems to be more eco-friendly. The high price point of their bar is really my only complaint.
