Bar: Öko Caribe 70%
Maker: Twenty-Four Blackbirds (Santa Barbara, California, USA)
Price: $4/14g (French Broad Chocolate Lounge)
Overall Rating:
 6.5/10
Munch Factor:
 7/10
Ingredients:
 Cacao & Cane Sugar

Appearance: Memorable and delicate-looking mold, emblazoned with a feather whose lightness is reflected in the bar’s tiny size; well-tempered and dark brown in color.
Aroma: Woody and mossy, but sweet.
Melt & Snap: nice melt & good snap.
Flavor: Immediately pleasantly sweet cocoa, like biting into the perfect chocolate chip cookie, and then light notes of fruit come in before the medium finish.
Complaints & Complements: I’ll admit that I did this review at thirty thousand feet, on the way to the Dominican Republic. That said, I liked this bar; it was so very enjoyable and aesthetically-pleasing, but it didn’t amaze me. I’d buy it again, though particularly as a gift.
