Bar: Mid-Mountain Blend 70%
Maker: Ritual Chocolate (Park City, Utah, USA)
Price: $10/60g (The Chocolate House DC)
Overall Rating: 6.5/10
Munch Factor: 7/10
Ingredients: Cacao Beans, Organic Cane Sugar.
Appearance: personalized mold with the brand name in stylized font in the center; color is an unremarkable dark brown.
Aroma: quite sweet and a bit acidicly fruity, like dried cherries covered in dark chocolate; it smells almost… fresh? Like I’m smelling it outside, near a field.
Melt & Snap: okay melt & gorgeous snap.
Flavor: sweet and then deep cocoa, like freshly baked brownies with just a hint of bitterness.
Complaints & Complements: these flavors melted together to taste like a very high quality fruity fudge brownie. It was good, but not exceptional. I’m still a huge fan of Ritual Chocolate, but this bar is not one of my favorites.
Context: sitting on the floor of my Korean apartment after work.
