Appearance: nondescript 18-block mold with little squiggles on it; medium brown color with nice temper.
Aroma: sweet molasses and floral wood, like bamboo; it’s very pleasant and rustic but I can’t quite put my finger on it.
Melt & Snap: okay melt & good snap.
Flavor: a bit bitter, then sweet, and some complex florality comes in before a slightly dry finish with lot of cocoa.
Complaints & Complements: it’s a very tame and appealing dark, obviously well-done, though in a hard-to-describe way.
Context: Sitting in my climate-controlled home in the US.
